Realistic Apple Terminal mockups rendered with each scheme’s real colors. Pick a theme below, then follow How to install to apply it.
📥 How to install a theme on Apple Terminal — click to collapse

Method 1 — Let Copilot install it EASIEST

  1. Click the on each theme you like (or click the card) to shortlist it.
  2. Hit Copy install prompt in the bottom bar.
  3. Open a Copilot CLI session and paste. The copied text is a complete, self-contained instruction — it names the GitHub repo, the .terminal file(s), and asks to set the first as Default — so it works even in a brand-new session with no prior context.
  4. Copilot imports the profile, sets it as Default, and applies it to your open windows automatically.
Example of what gets copied:
Install the Apple Terminal color theme “Cyberdyne” from the GitHub repo mbadolato/iTerm2-Color-Schemes (the file terminal/Cyberdyne.terminal): import it into Terminal.app and set it as the Default profile.

Method 2 — Install it yourself

  1. Click ⬇ .terminal on a card, then on GitHub click Download raw file.
  2. Double-click the downloaded .terminal file — Terminal imports it as a profile.
  3. Open Terminal → Settings (⌘,) → Profiles tab.
  4. Select your theme in the left list, then click Default (bottom-left) so new windows use it.
